The UBD Language Centre is honoured to organise the APCA-ANPOR Universiti Brunei Darussalam 2025 Conference on 27–28 May 2025. The conference, themed “Communication and Languages in Asian-Pacific Regions: Connection, Collaboration, and Sustainability,” reflects our commitment to contributing meaningfully to the advancement of communication and language studies.
It will cover a range of key issues including sustainable communication practices, language education and policy, the interplay between language, communication, and connectivity, the impact of linguistic diversity on communication, the intersection of policy and sustainability, and the role of education and training in forging communication partnerships and networks.
Set to take place at Universiti Brunei Darussalam, this event will not only facilitate the sharing of experiences and solutions but also strengthen Brunei’s role in international communication research networks. We welcome contributions from scholars and practitioners across various sub-fields of communication and language studies, including media, linguistics, information technology, politics, and global networks, to enrich discussions and contribute to the broader discourse on sustainability and communication.
We eagerly anticipate welcoming experts, academics, and practitioners from around the world to share their insights and strategies for advancing sustainable communication practices at this pivotal event.
