2023 ANPOR-APCA Annual Conference
AI and the Future of Academic Research: Challenges and Opportunities
December 4-7, 2023
On-site & Virtual Conference
Manila, the Philippines
Rationale:
The Asian Network for Public Opinion Research (ANPOR), Asia-Pacific Communication Alliance (APCA), and FICL – St. Paul University Manila have facilitated communication among scholars, practitioners, journalists, and students from various countries to participate and contribute to the betterment of Asia and Pacific societies through the lens of public opinion, journalism, and communication research. Throughout the past years, the ANPOR, APCA, and SPU Manila have successfully crafted friendships and collaborations among scholars and institutions in Asia and other regions.
Since January 2019, the COVID-19 pandemic has undoubtedly changed a lot of things for us, primarily how an international academic community should be run and how we could maintain effective communication with strict travel bans. As academic communities, ANPOR, APCA, and SPU Manila must stay connected and encourage each other with high-quality research projects.
To cherish the spirit of ANPOR, APCA, and SPU Manila networking in this time’s disruptive transformation and to commemorate the 12th year of ANPOR and the 6th year of APCA, you are cordially invited to submit abstracts and papers to present at the on-site and on-site conference. This year, the theme of our conference is “AI and the Future of Academic Research: Challenges and Opportunities,” to be held in the beautiful and historic city of Manila, Philippines.
Thus, the 2023 ANPOR-APCA Annual Conference hopes to engage academics from across the regions within the central theme of Artificial Intelligence and its future towards academic research in public opinion, multicultural communication, and related pedagogies..
